Plans are forging ahead for our newly named Food Zone. With approximately 80 trade stands you will be able to browse, sample and purchase some of the most delicious foods available. Game, jams and chutneys, award winning cheeses, pies, pastries and cakes, cider, beer and wine, fruit and vegetables and much more will be on display.

The Aga Rangemaster Cookery Demonstration Theatre, hosting some of the top chefs and cooks in the locality, will run a full timetable of events throughout the day. More details to come later. Tasting is, of course, compulsory!

We are delighted to welcome back Min Raisman and her Fit2Cook team. Min is passionate about food education and, having produced the BBC Radio 4’s award winning Food Programme and organising The Food and Farming Awards, she knows what she is talking about. Children will be able to get hands on with ingredients creating tasty snacks to take away with them. Other activities within the children’s tent will also focus on healthy, seasonal fruit and vegetables.

New this year is our on site baker. Not only will you be able buy freshly made bread but also learn how to make your own.

A large picnic area will provide the opportunity for you to rest your feet and sit in a relaxed atmosphere to examine your purchases or enjoy your refreshments.
