We are honoured to welcome representatives from both the American Embassy and Canadian High Commission to this year’s show. Men from both countries were based at Broadlands during WW1 and we are pleased to welcome them back again.

Each Section is getting involved by highlighting how their section may have looked in the 1914-1918 period with displays and information boards.
The Bakery demonstration, in the Food Zone, will highlight breads of the period (at WW1 prices)
And everyone, visitors, stewards and Members, are invited to come along dressed in period costume – on-the-spot prizes through the day for the best dressed individuals.
And all this in addition to the usual exhibits of cattle, sheep, pigs, fur ‘n’ feather, cage birds, art, antiques, horticulture, honey & wine, Countryside Information, Rural industries/crafts, Shopping marquee, Food Zone traders and a myriad of other organisations and companies promoting their services, offering things to do and a wonderful selection of items to purchase from pennies to pounds.

Don’t’ Forget – ENTRIES CLOSE 5th AUGUST.  Late entries for Horse and Donkeys will be accepted after that date at DOUBLE THE ENTRY FEE!”  (Late entries for Cattle and Sheep will also be accepted).
