In The President’s Ring (1)
This year we are pleased to welcome back Jason Smythe and his Adrenaline Tour into our President’s (main) Ring along with a Parade and Display of Iberian horses and horsemanship and a ‘special something’ by the Women’s Institute as they celebrate their 100th anniversary the this year’s show. The traditional vintage and preserved machinery parade will take place in the morning and again in the afternoon, when they will be joined by a few of the more modern agricultural machinery available. We will also welcome back into the ring the Grand Parade of cattle and sheep, the Parade of Hounds, the Private Driving class and the Heavy Horse Turnout class and Parade.

At Special Exhibition ‘A’
New Forest Outdoor Activity Centre will have a range of displays and activites including shelter building etc. 

By the Fur and Feather marquee
Military Farriers competition using bellow-fired forges to make horse shoes etc.

Food Zone
Welcome back to the ever popular Kids Kitchen, run by Halterworth School, where children can ‘have a go’

Also returning is the Bakery Demonstration, this year featuring special breads for the dining table

The Demonstration Theatre has a full day of demonstrations lined up including the Women’s Institute (as part of their 100th anniversary celebrations) and Shelina Permalloo (the 2012 winner of BBC’s MasterChef).

A wonderful selection of local and artisan foods and drinks will be available to purchase and try.

Elsewhere

Every part of the show has a huge programme and selection of displays, events, information stands etc throughout the day.

Go visit the horses and donkeys – of all shapes and sizes and, new this year, Western Riding classes; Countryside Information Area – with fly fishing, ferret and terrier racing, information of country pursuits and organisations, concluding with the ever-popular Family Dog ShowShopping, Rural Industries (craft) and, new this year, Homes & Gifts marqueeshorticulture, gardening and Floral Art marquees; Art, Honey & Wine, Cage birds and Fur-and-Feather marquees; the Farm Centre – with its cattle, sheep, water buffalo, pigs and otters; and don’t forget all the ‘outside’ trade stands – offering advice and products to suit every one and every pocket. Beat the Christmas rush and buy your gifts now, while you see them!


Dogs and the Romsey Show
The Romsey Show welcomes dogs to accompany their owners, but must be kept on a short, non-retractable, lead at all times. Please note there are some areas that dogs are not permitted for health and safety reasons.
Dog-friendly facilities will be available throughout the showground
Please clear up after your dog
Showday may be hot and under NO circumstances should animals be left in vehicles.

Romsey Show is pleased to be holding this prestigious Championship again at its annual show, to be held on
Saturday 12th September.

The Championship will be judged in the Palmerston Ring (2)
